Wristwarmers/Handwarmers (Pattern)

Wristwarmers/Handwarmers (Pattern)
This project is more of a formula than a pattern. I'll give you guidelines for figuring out specifics, to make one of two different types of wristwarmers. We will use the ball band of the yarn to give us a starting point for our calculations, and go from there.

If you are a new knitter, you might enjoy knitting the second project. It is created with garter-stitch fabric (no purls, knit flat). It adds one new skill to avoid hand-seaming (illustrated in the appendix) to make a truly useful and colorful project.

If you can knit and purl happily, but want to try knitting in the round on double-pointed needles, the first version is a low-stress way to try knitting in the round for a small circumference.

Perhaps, however, you know all of the above. You might just enjoy making a fun and colorful project as a quick gift, or as a way to finally have warm hands and still be able to use your fingers.

Yarn: 100gm/4oz of any warm DK, Worsted or Bulky weight yarn.
Needle: Set of 4 Double-Pointed Needles (DPNs), one or two sizes smaller than called for on the yarn band.

You are purchasing a high-quality color printed pattern in page protector, sent through the US Postal Service.
