I felt strongly that at the age of 15 it would be good for her to visit a place very different from her familiar home. She studies French at school, so the obvious answer for us was Montreal.

I had visited Montreal alone in the summer of 2000, and loved it. This year (summer 2001), I had the pleasure of taking "My Sara" to this fascinating, historical, cultural, bustling, very alive city.
